Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Couch reader by day. ☀️
Librocubicularist by night. 🌙
Male main character or female main character?
No preference, give me all genders! I’m concerned about whether or not I click with the MC’s personality.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks?
Always switching because too much of either isn’t so good. Typically slaty when I’m reading, even though I have a serious sweet tooth! 🍿🍪
Trilogies or Quartets?
I think I’ve only read triologies or series with more than 4 books? Question should be: Standalone or Series? But then again, I’d say either when done well! 😂
First Person POV or Third Person?
Typically, I prefer 3rd person POV so I can get into more than one of the characters’ heads. Also, I’m more likely to enjoy a book less if I don’t particularly like the MC and it’s in 1st person POV, because I spend too much time disagreeing. 🙈 There are a few books that have changed my mind, but I’ve always really liked the MC.
Reading at night or in the morning?
Night owl. 🦉✨
(I don’t think the hours after midnight and before going to bed count here?!)
Libraries or Bookstores?
I love discovering both when traveling!! I prefer small town libraries and indie bookstores because they’re so charming and always focus on the local flair. 📚
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
Laugh until I cry!! I hate crying, but if a book manages to squeeze tears out of me, it usually hits my favorites list immediately… 😭
(I’m also way more emotional with audiobooks.)
Black Book Covers or White Book Covers?
Black. 🌈 Or colorful.
Character Driven or Plot Driven?
Plot driven books keep me on my toes, but it can’t be lacking in the character department either. Similar to the POV question, a few books have changed my mind!
