Top 10 Tuesday: “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Welcome to this week’s Top 10 Tuesday: “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” a.k.a. places I’d love to visit one day, that also happen to be mentioned (or created) in books. When I started to jot down a note about this TTT post, I couldn’t stop! I narrowed it down for this so we’re not here all week, as I know you have many other amazing blogs to hop over to. All aboard, here we go!! (While I pat myself on the back for mostly following all the rules this week, haha!)

A Couple of Bookish Places I’ve Been

~ You knew I was going to bend the rules 😉 ~

Hobbiton & Mount Doom, Middle Earth (NZ)

I may adore the movies, but I still need to read LOTR. 🤐 Even so, it was surreal to visit Middle Earth! Did I go on the set tour? Pfft no, sir—my monies went toward a jump out of an airplane. Did I hike Mount Doom? Hahaha… ya girl needed an all-day dip in the natural hot springs. (It totally counts that I saw Mount Doom the entire time I skydived!)

Forks & La Push, Washington

Olympic Peninsula is absolutely stunning!! If you like camping and visiting the National Parks, you can’t miss this gem! In contrast to what you may think based on a few of my recent posts, I was *obsessed* with the first three books of Twilight (before the epic disappointment that was Breaking Dawn). The only thing disappointing about visiting, was I didn’t randomly run into Jacob in La Push…

Where would you go?
