Welcome to ‘Bubbly Booknerd’!

I am ecstatic to announce that my book blog is NOW LIVE!

Whaaat?! I need a minute to run around and scream… 🙈🙉🙊

2018 was pivotal year in reading for me. A tiny bit dramatic, but I still can’t believe what I accomplished this year! It all started when I joined the ‘Popsugar Reading Challenge’ in February with an astronomical goal of reading 50 books. A little background: I read 12 books in 2017 and 12 books in 2016, so 5-0 was mind boggling for me!

Have I met my goal? Yes and no. Yes, I’ve read over 50 books, and no they didn’t all fit nicely into the challenge, but I’ve gained so much more. It was the butterfly effect, without Ashton Kutcher *sobs*, but with so many bookish boy/girl/enbyfriends. On Goodreads, I met wonderful bibliophiles who had similar bookish tastes and I actually started to write my own reviews (moreso thoughts, opinions, rants, spastic comments, and just flat-out fangirling). This fall, I opened a bookish twitter account and finally decided “YES! I really want to blog about everything books!”

A couple months later, here we are and I am so [not] ready to release it to the world! I still have a lot of work to do, like write my growing backlog of RTCs haha! I am planning to upload some graphics/photos in the coming weeks. Then, I’ll also have content for my bookstagram account, so there is a lot to look forward to! My blog is new, but you can find all of my Goodreads reviews uploaded for easy viewing if you’ve missed any over the last year and you can find an index under my ‘Bookshelf’ menu. I’m really excited for 2019 as I’ve joined some amazing challenges and buddy reads. (You can too!) I will publish individual posts to introduce them to you but you can see a sneak peak under the drop downs from my ‘Book Chat’ menu.

Thank you so much for dropping in. Feel free to grab a seat by the fire, sip on a cuppa, and ‘Let’s chat books!’
